Current Education Issues

Teachers' Unions
Part of the mission of academia, to which teachers are the most vital component, is to:
  • protect the health, safety, and Constitutional rights of students;
  • connect students to our nation’s heritage, sovereignty, and principles of liberty contained in our founding documents, including the Declaration of Independence and US Constitution;
  • promote sobriety and healthy lifestyles;
  • affirm the authority of parents over the education and health care of their children;
  • treat boys as boys and girls as girls.  
The political views and activities of the two largest teachers’ unions, the National Education Association (NEA) and the American Federation of Teachers (AFT), appear to be at odds with the afore-mentioned objectives.  Take a look at the articles and websites at the following links and you decide.​​

The following is a review of  Rabble Rousers, a book written by Lily Eskelsen García, a sixth grade teacher from Utah and President of the National Education Association.  I have condensed the wording and added bolding:  
Rabble Rousers spotlights social justice advocates who used their voices, commitment and passion to organize communities to fight injustice and move the masses to fight to try to change the world. All were fearless and relentless, and understood that hidden within individuals was the unimaginable, miraculous, collective power of the many.

National Education Association Educational Justice (NEA EdJustice)
The preceding link reveals how the National Education Association is encouraging teachers to indoctrinate their students to: (1) reject the foundational principles of our Constitutional liberty, free enterprise economy, and national sovereignty; and (2) engage in decadent, immoral, and unhealthy behavior.
American Federation of Teachers
The American Federation of Teachers (AFT) is a rival teachers’ union to the National Education Association (NEA) and has similar political views to the NEA.  The AFT is an affiliate of the AFL-CIO (American Federation of Labor – Council of Industrial Organizations).

Teaching Tolerance Magazine      
Teaching Tolerance magazine is a publication of the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), which is a seditious, deceitful, hateful, anti-United States sovereignty and anti-Constitutional liberty organization that specializes in racist demagoguery and slander.  I extracted the following statements about the Teaching Tolerance project from the Teaching Tolerance website and added bolding: “Our mission is to help teachers and schools educate children and youth to be active participants in a diverse democracy.” “Teaching Tolerance provides free resources to educators—teachers, administrators, counselors and other practitioners—who work with children from kindergarten through high school.”  “Our Social Justice Standards show how anti-bias education works through the four domains of identity, diversity, justice and action.”  “In its Declaration of Principles on Tolerance, UNESCO [United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization] offers a definition of tolerance that most closely matches our philosophical use of the word:
Tolerance is respect, acceptance and appreciation of the rich diversity of our world's cultures, our forms of expression and ways of being human
“[W]e begin with a simple mission: to eradicate intolerance.”  “A project of the Southern Poverty Law Center, Teaching Tolerance was founded in 1991 to prevent the growth of hate.” “The project has been named a “Friend of the UN,” recognized by the Desmond Tutu Peace Foundation, and selected by President Clinton’s Initiative on Race as one of the nation’s “Promising Practices” to eradicate racism.”

My comments: Teaching Tolerance claims to help teachers educate children, when it in fact manipulates teachers to indoctrinate children in globalism, humanism, socialism, sexual anarchy, and racist demagoguery, while neglecting to teach the children basic academic skills of communication, computation, and civics.  With resources such as Teaching Tolerance, it is no wonder our high school graduates are so ignorant of our principles of liberty and are so attracted to despotic socialism.  The writers for Teaching Tolerance couldn’t spell “justice” with spell check; in fact, they are contemptuous of our Constitutional liberties and strive to abolish them.  The writers of Teaching Tolerance obviously have their allegiance to the United Nations, not the United States, which is disloyalty bordering on sedition.  Teaching Tolerance claims to have a mission to eradicate intolerance, when their writers wouldn't tolerate anyone who supports our Constitutional liberties, our free-market economy, or the sovereignty of the United States.  Teaching Tolerance magazine claims to be founded to prevent the growth of hate, when their writers hate anyone who supports our Constitutional liberties, our free-market economy, or United States sovereignty.  It is no surprise that Teaching Tolerance magazine was named a friend of the corrupt, inept, tyrannical UN, or that it was recognized by the despotic, hypocritical heretic Desmond Tutu, or that the Initiative on Race of the race-baiting degenerate, former President Clinton, “selected it as one of the nation’s “Promising Practices” to eradicate racism.”

How Public Schools Indoctrinate Kids Without Almost Anyone Noticing
'Teach-ins' at the taxpayer-funded Smithsonian and in New York City promise anti-historical indoctrination from socialist Howard Zinn's 'A People's History of the United States.'  According to Wikipedia ( ), Zinn described himself as "something of an anarchist, something of a socialist. ​I copied the following review of the book The Deliberate Dumbing Down of America by Charlotte Thompson Iserbyt, who served in the US Department of Education during the early 1980s:
"I just got finished reading this entire book, and it’s truly amazing. Aside from being extremely well written, it serves another very important purpose that might not be immediately obvious. The author has meticulously documented facts, thus providing an airtight case that proves beyond any possible doubt that the global elites have been engaged in a social engineering war against the United States and humanity for most of the last century. In fact, no one has ever documented their actions to this extent. It speaks to their true intentions, and has important implications we can apply to other theories about the New World Order. If they are evil enough to go after our children in order to steamroll over our society, then nothing can be put past them. If they are truly capable of such evil depravity, then their employment of other tactics (e.g., drugs, immigration, pointless wars, destruction of the family, racial division, etc.) to try to destabilize our nation, as many others others have suggested, becomes not only possible, but likely. Virtually all the perpetrators [of mass violence] are mentally and emotionally unstable and products of a purposeful moral corruption directed by virtually all social and entertainment media today. A lot of the blame, of course, must go to parents and schools which fail to actively shield children or fight against the pernicious social influences that continually ply youth with banal social conversation, mindless movies or violent video games featuring conflict, sex, and morally corrupting influences. Instead, the media celebrates this as diversity and freedom from religious constraints. Only parents can intervene in the skewed development process affecting their children but almost none do so, refusing to accept any alternative to public schooling, and having been long ago subjected to these same influences themselves, which they shrug off. They often fail to see the danger until a child goes irretrievably into the oblivion of evil thoughts and actions.
